We need to pray over this Senate race. The outcome of it is crucial for FL & America.
While sieging this morning we God-ordainly stumbled into the State Senate as they were debating and voting on this amendment. Let's just say it was an intense debate. But the amendment passed! That is awesome! Basically, the amendment requires women who are seeking abortions to pay for ultrasound exams, which applies to first-trimester abortions. In 2006, there were 95,586 abortions performed in Florida. Of those, 86,938 occurred in the first three months of pregnancy that now would be subject to the ultrasound mandate. That's 86,938 that could have been altered to not abort. That's huge.
Wow. This happened in Italy, but the mindset is the same in the US. This is what makes me so mad about this story "The law means that doctors have had an obligation to try to preserve the life of the child once he had survived the abortion." There is something terribly wrong with that sentence. First kill the baby, but when that fails, protect it??
I know this is really off topic, but MAN is it cool.
