Invitation
We believe that Jesus is extending an invitation for you to partner with the good work that He is doing through the International House of Prayer in Tallahassee. At IHOP Tallahassee, God is establishing a community of people called into the occupation of ministering before the Lord—to “give Him no rest” until He makes His name a praise in the earth (Isaiah 62). These individuals desire to live from the reality found in Leviticus 6:12:
"The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out."
It is their primary occupation to keep worship and prayer constantly "burning" before God in this region. From this place of communion, these Intercessory Missionaries have consecrated themselves to loving God, to hearing His voice and partnering with Him, through prayer and fasting, for the release of righteousness and the preparing of a people for Jesus' return.
This work has many different facets, including facilitating daily worship and prayer sets in the Prayer Room, equipping individuals to encounter Jesus, raising up messengers and revivalists to influence every sphere of society, compassion ministry, special outreaches at Florida's Capitol and on Tallahassee's campuses (FSU, FAMU), and contending for the release of God's justice (Luke 18:7) and the fullness of His Spirit (Acts 2:17-21).
In this hour of history, it is of the utmost importance for the Church to stand firm in prayer, remaining faithful to God's Word and seeing His will established. As a Missions Base, our staff embraces these truths, and you can have an important role in helping fulfill them! All of our full-time staff are released into ministry by the prayers and financial gifts of friends, family, and individuals like you.
